Annual General Meeting,   Thursday, 13th January 2022

For those of you who already know I apologise, but – our Filey Art Society Annual General Meeting is to be held in our normal rooms at Filey Evron Centre as advised in the Christmas Newsletter.

The Committee would like to ask you to please please come along, we pay subs on the same day usually , and this year we are going to try 50% of subs i.e. £15 for the year which we hope will meet with your approval. We are trying to recruit new members and this sub, for this year, will offset any parking fees you have to pay, we hope, and help recruit some new members.

We would like a few ideas on how to raise some funds for the Society, such as art and craft fayres, coffee mornings etc., or anything else you can think of. If you are unable to come to the meeting, can you please email me with your intention of joining the Society this year. (If you can recruit any of your friends it would be greatly appreciated).

In order for us to hold the AGM we have to have a quorum of at least 15 members which includes the Committee so if you can come along it would be very much appreciated even if you just come for the meeting and don’t stay long. we are holding the AGM fairly informally, and hopefully can still have our workshop. The AGM will start at 10am. So bring along your equipment to paint too!!
